So, this might be one of my craziest weeks yet! Things might be a little quiet around here, but that's only because there are some big things happening for me and my biz! Despite the craziness I am taking advantage and soaking in all the beautiful Fall weather we are having!! I just love love Fall. Last night, I made pumpkin waffles for dinner haha, I just can't get enough of pumpkin and fall inspired anything right now. What are some fun Fall traditions you and your fam celebrate?? I'd love to hear them!
These are some pumpkins we painted this year, and I love how they turned out. I'm thinking this might need to be a new tradition for us - so quick and easy!! Although... I do love me some pumpkin seeds =)

Monday Morning Yoga!
Happy Monday! I'm am so thankful for a day off today. I was sick all weekend and had to work an event yesterday. So today, is all about some light email work, rest, reading, and cleaning up the home =) ... and maybe a DIY project or two hehe
A friend of mine recently sent this morning yoga routine to me, knowing that I love doing yoga, but sometimes get so busy I miss my classes. It's nothing too complicated, but it totally loosens you up and gets your mind and body ready for the day. I love it so much! I've been doing it now for a couple weeks and it's exactly what I need in the morning. So, I thought it you might enjoy it as well! Gotta share the wealth, right??

Thoughtful Reminder
The last couple weeks I've been busy with packaging clients and learning new details and things to know in this new phase in my business. I've also been winding down my first full time wedding season, which is a little bittersweet for me. I had so much fun and worked so hard this wedding season and I feel like it was incredibly successful. I'm so sad to see it slow down a bit. The good news is, I have some fall and winter events booked already, as well as booking for next summer already. On the other hand, I'm ready for a little break =)
All of that to say, I'm beyond blessed to have had such a great first year, but sometimes it's easy to look at other people and want to be where they are at in their business/life/relationships. I don't do this all the time, but with Facebook and Pinterest how can you not look at others?! So, I've been going through this and wrestling with the concept of being ok and thankful for where I'm at. Not only that, but enjoying the place I am at. And just working on ME. I stumbled across this photo on the web, and it just stuck out to me as a good reminder I should challenge myself to everyday. So maybe you have been struggling with the same thoughts, or maybe you used to, and you're on the other side of things now! Either way, I thought this might touch at least one other person and be a bit of a hump day encouragement for them - Happy Wednesday!

Shop Organic
Now technically speaking, not sure if these items are "certified" organic... but they are all made from wood, so it sounded good to me =) For some reason the natural texture and pattern of wood is so beautiful to me. And what is even more beautiful is adding more wood to my more "techy" items. Here are some of my favorite natural wood products out there - I'm a fan of them all, especially #1 - my sister's friend from college started this company, how cool is that?! I'm ordering mine today... now if only I had an iphone for that awesome case!

SlimKicker!
So now that you are all feeling good after eating those fab Nutella brownies from yesterday... how about some health and fitness for your soul! Last year I was contacted by one of the creators of a fun new app called SlimKicker. They were looking for feedback from bloggers on what they would like in a health & fitness app, and they picked me! This was the overall idea...
"So, this app will make living healthy, and fitness into a RPG game, where users earn points, and 'level up' as they achieve their goals. Every time they eat something healthy like vegetables, they earn points. Every time they complete a workout, they earn points. Each level will present different challenges.
The challenges will follow a certain structure. First will come changing your environment such as getting rid of junk food. Then, reducing stress, as stress leads to eating comfort food. Then concrete goals like keeping track of everything you eat, or taking the stairs for a week. Small, concrete goals rather than abstract ones like “be healthy” or “exercise more”.
The whole point is to create a holistic framework/game so people will rely less on willpower, and more on fun, achievement, and changing our environment."
And I thought is sounded so cool, and something I could totally get excited about. I've been waiting to see what the final product actually looks like and how it works & now it is finally LIVE! So head on over to SlimKicker and join - it's FREE and I hope you enjoy it!!

Hearted: The Diana Lens
So you all probably know that I got an adorable lil' doxie mix for my bday, named Olive. She's quite a cutie and my newest love. However, Mr. H outdid himself this year - he also got me a Diana Lens w/ an adapter for my Canon digital SLR from PhotoJoJo (the coolest photo store!) Anyways, I'm in love and I have been playing around with it nonstop. It even fits on my holga!! I seriously cannot wait to test that one out. I'm even thinking I should shoot the Spring Summer 2012 Tasteful line with it - what do you think??
Here are some snaps I took of my relaxing birthday weekend in our apartment. We basically just slept in, played with Olive and stayed in our Pjs the whole time. It was awesome.

2011 Holiday Guide
Can you guys believe it is November!? There are holiday cups at Starbucks, Christmas Tree lots popping up everywhere, Christmas inspired pins ALL over Pinterest. I love it all. Something new that I am equally excited for is Emily Henderson's Holiday Guide. This is not your typical "gift guide" you may see floating around the blogosphere, this is chock full of awesome products, diy projects, fashion, decor, you name it! The guide was also a labor of love for a good friend of mine, Lindsay Goldner of LLY Designs. Didn't she do an awesome job?! Summer 2011 Book Update
You may remember me chatting about this new book I purchased on Etsy - Summer 2011 and how I was going to document my summer and all the exciting things happening to me i.e. wedding, moving, etc. Well, I have an update for you all =) I have a handful of pages done in the book and it seriously LOVE how it's all coming together. I cannot wait to add more. One of my biggest pet peeves about technology is I have my camera phone w/ me everywhere and I take so many more photos but I never print them out. So I finally printed a ton and I can't wait to add the wedding and honeymoon pages =) Anyways, I got lots of inspiration from Elise's blog (she is the one who sells the books) Hope you all are enjoying your Tuesdays!

Hearted:: Mini Books!
I have a new love! Mini Books by Elise Blaha - are my new obsession. I stumbled upon Elise's crafty blog about 6 months ago and love going there for inspiration, fun craft ideas, journaling tutorials, and her small business column. She shares a wealth of knowledge and I love all her fun bright colors! Anyways, I finally broke down and decided I needed her new mini summer book so I could document the whole wedding process, the wedding, and my summer as a newlywed - fun right!?
So here are a few snaps of my super cute mini book that is just waiting for me to fill with love =) Any fun products out there that you just LOVE?? I'd love to see!
One thing I always anxiously anticipate when ordering something online is how the seller will package their items and I LOVE how Elise throws in fun paper products and even has the cutest sticker on the back of the package! That phrase is my new mantra!

Strawberry Summer
So I'm watching these two girls for the past couple of weeks and we are having tons of adventures together! Last night we got like $50 worth of strawberries and pureed (sp?) them and made smoothies with just fresh strawberries, ice, and some lemons. They were seriously sooo good and fresh - it definitely started to feel like summer! Now, all I can think about is making more this evening =) How are you all kicking off your summer??

Cover Me Happy
So this past week, I have been listening to a lot of my favorite covers. I even made a mix cd (who does that anymore!?) of all my favorites to listen to in this amazing weather with the windows down. Some music just needs air. It all started when I found this cover of my favorite Stevie Nicks song. So I thought I would share w/ you some of my TOP favs and maybe you can share some of yours! Happy Wednesday!
1) First up is Jayme Dee's cover of Jeff Buckley's cover of the Leonard Cohen Hallelujah. I love this song. Period. And I'm even more in love with Jayme Singing it.
2) Katy Perry's cover of Electric Feel by MGMT. I love Katy. And I love this cover. Enough said.
3) Stacey Dupree's cover of Stevie Nicks' Silverspring which might be one of my all-time favorites.
4) Brooke White's cover of Kings of Leon's Love Somebody - soooo good!
5) And last but not least - Fleet Foxes singing Bob Dylan's It Ain't Me Babe.
