Vintage Rentals: Family/Maternity Sesh

Happy Monday Friends! Blogging has been a littler slower lately with all the weddings I've had and continue do have kept me super busy, and away from my computer unfortunately. But I have some seriously cool DIYs coming this week that I cannot wait to share, so stay tuned for that! But today, I have some beautiful photos from a family slash maternity shoot that used some of our vintage rentals. You've probably seen my rentals in wedding photos, baby showers, engagement shoots on here, but did you know you could use them for family sessions as well?! Vintage Inspired Engagement Shoot

I love engagement shoots! I especially love when couples throw in their own personality to their shoot. Warren + Leslie used some of my vintage rentals to showcase their love of vintage and travel with fun suitcases & vintage globes in an open field/forest location - and huge shoutout to Becca Rillo Photography for capturing this adorable couple so beautifully! Thanks for sharing these images Becca! Now aren't these two the cutest?!

Olive : 16 Weeks

So Olive is now just over 16 weeks old! Last weekend we were finally able to take her outside and boy did she have a blast. Mr. H and I had so much fun with her at the park - just our little family hanging out. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from her playing in the park as well as a fun little video =) Hope you all had a great weekend! Ecuador Love

Yesterday I had the opportunity of being apart of a truly beautiful experience. A wedding between 2 people: 1 Ecuadorian, 1 SoCal girl, 2 beautiful families, and an amazing community that rallied around the people that they love. I am not much of a crier, but this was such a super emotional wedding for me & I can't quite put my finger on it... but I think it is just being around each of the families and living with them up to the wedding and hearing so much about them and just seeing first hand how much they love each other - it is just what a wedding should be about. So this is just a little sneak peak from the day - it's just a screen shot, hence the random mouse image haha. Hope everyone has a happy Easter!

Babiekins Magazine Feature

I am BEYOND excited to share these images with you today! Late last night when I finally saw them, I almost cried I was so happy (that could also be because I'm super emotional that my wedding is less than 2 months away and I'm just downright exhausted haha) but nonetheless I'm overjoyed with how Allie Lindsey Photography captured my Baby Tatters. This shoot in particular was featured in the latest issue of Babiekins Magazine. The MOST fashionable children's mag out there - let me tell you! Be sure to check out their online mag and keep your eye out for some Tatters! The Baby Tatters will be available for purchase The first week of July at the shop. Now for the eye candy =)

Tasteful :: Launch Party Photos!

I'm SO excited to share these with you! Here is a just a peak into what the launch party was like! We had an AMAZING photo wall built by Kyle Smith - seriously ladies you want this for your wedding =) We showcased photos of Tatters by Margaret Jacobsen and Treasures by Becca Rillo. We also featured branding and web design by Shannon LaBare. And the food was from Nathan & Molly Reynolds. And my amazing fiance Mr. H was there as well to cheer me on. I could not have done all of this w/out each of these guys' help and support and I love you all SO MUCH! So without further adieu...

Here are a few more from a little shoot we did with the newly engaged Jon and Courtney. I just love them. And, I mean, how could you not just LOVE her shoes?! =) They are getting married this fall and I am so honored to be apart of their special day for coordinating as well as a few Tasteful Treasures!

Today is my birthday!! Normally, I'd be a bit more excited - but something about getting older this year is stressing me out a little haha. But I plan on having a very relaxing and craft filled day =)

Here is a little preview of one of my favs from my good friends Courtney & Jon. They are getting married this year and not only do I have the honor of doing some coordinating and styling for their big day - but they asked me to shoot a few snaps for their engagement photos. Seriously how stunning are they?! You may remember these fabulous faces from a little love shoot we did awhile ago here. Congratulations again Courtney and Jon - you guys are such stunning people inside and out and I am so happy for you!!

Something Blue: Wedding Inspiration

This is my dear friend Erin. She got married a couple of weekends ago and I honestly haven't seen a couple more in love in a long time. They are so laid back and carefree. One of the funnest receptions I've been to in a long time. I was able to snap this of them as the party was coming to a close. They really inspired me to just enjoy this whole wedding process and to focus on what it's really about. A marriage. Not just an event. 

With that said... I actually started doing some planning for MY wedding. Yikes only 5 months away!! So here is a little sneak into my crazy wedding world! Hope you enjoy!

Merry Christmas From the Sutherlands

Yes, these are ALL my siblings and YES they are quite a bit younger than me ha. Aren't they just the cutest!? The lil' guy in the front on the bottom photos is Landon - he's 6 and has quite the personality - in case you can't tell =) Andy took our impromptu Christmas photo last weekend in Corona and it was so fun to be with the family again. So Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!

 

Something Blue: Engagement Shoot!

A couple weeks ago, Andy and I took out engagement photos! This whole wedding process has been a ton of fun and I love that Andy totally wants to help - and he has a ton of great ideas! Who knew he could be so crafty =) Anyways, this was something I was actually not looking forward too (I'm being honest here) I just feel awkward in front of a camera! Andy and I used to joke about how fun it would be while we were on a date to have a photographer just follow us around... and then we actually get it and I feel awkward! What is up with that. Thank goodness our photographer (and friend) Lizzie did such a great job at making us feel more comfortable! She was such a trooper going along with all my crazy ideas and treading through fields that were taller than her just to get a shot! Check out her blog here!
