Something Blue: Lovebirds Wedding { Pt. 1 }

I had the fabulous opportunity to design and coordinate this amazing Lovebird themed wedding for Molly & Nate. They were simply amazing to work with and had so many great ideas - Nate even participated in a craft night! We brought in so many details and vintage flare it was right up my alley. Basically every detail was handmade and the best part was seeing all of their friends chip in on the big day to help set everything up. They had friends do the flowers, cater the food, provide all the alcohol (what?!) What a testimony to the love in each of their lives!

Thank you so much to Margaret Jacobson Photography and Becca Rillo for the amazing photography and capturing all the details we slaved away on =) Be sure to check out each of their blogs for full posts on this wedding!

Courtney & Jon {Cont.}

I posted a "Sneak Peak" of this adorable couple MONTHS ago! I could only show a few because Courtney was surprising Jon with a super cool photo collage slash mixed media piece for his graduation and wanted the photos to be a surprise. Then, graduation came and went, and I just plain forgot to post the rest. Oops.

So without further adieu... I give you quite possibly the cutest and most fashionably dressed couple!

Just a few shots from a fun whimsical shoot with the fabulous Simone. She was so much fun to shoot, I felt like I was a little kid just playing again. Have a wonderful week everyone!

Something Blue: Inspiration Board Help

I hope you all enjoyed your extra long weekend. I know I did! Ok, so A LOT of the inquiry emails I get have to do with wedding design and over all concept. I do lots of inspiration boards for people and I am constantly feeding my brain with more and more inspiration boards made by others. It's quite fun to say the least haha. But I know many of you have all the ideas, images, inspiration, you just don't know how to put it all together in a snazzy little package =)

Thanks to the fabulousness over at Style Me Pretty, your sad inspiration days are over! Here is what you need to do:
1) Head over to the Style Circle and create an account (if you don't already have one)
2) Then you'll have to fill out a little ditty about yourself
3) Then look to the top right corner and click New Inspiration Board
4) Let the creativity begin!!

Pretty soon you'll be creating fabulous inspiration like these:

Freebie Friday: Business & Art

I feel so bad, it has been WAY too long since I've posted a freebie friday so I apologize and felt I should give 2 in one post - just to sort of make up for my slacking. One thing that I love about the blog community is all the inspiration that swirling around and the art of inspiring; if that makes sense. What inspires you? Lots of times it's a beautiful photo, a view of nature, a rainbow, colors, the way a leaf fall on the ground. So many things inspire me on a daily basis, but sometimes reading about good business strategies, or "business" type books really get my juices flowing. I'm a nerd, I know! So hence the subjects of today's Freebie Friday: a little art and a little business tadaa!

First up, on the fabulous blog Design*Sponge - Alison Storm guests blogs about free software for business owners. These tools are so perfect for people who are just starting out, and why  not save a few bucks when starting a business! There are some things definitely worth spending the bucks on, and you should, but if there is a great deal out there - why not check it out!

So I went through all the items, and I picked out the best ones I felt would be the most beneficial for you business peeps.

Basically, Jen Wallace from Indie Foxx created the amazing art project where every month artists are invited to create a piece of art that will be made available for a free download - how stinkin' cool is that! So each month check out the free download section. These are just a couple of my favs from this month. I hope you feel inspired!
