So, this is a sneak peak of what I have been working endlessly on and what is soon to come. I started this little project quite a few months ago and it has been taking awhile to complete, but has been so much fun - I cannot wait to share it with you! I know I'm being vague but don't worry, you'll find out soon enough =) Enjoy!

Coming Soon...
I've noticed in the blog world that posts titled "Sneak Peak" and "Coming Soon" are becoming more and more popular: whether to entice the reader to come back for more photos or simply just trying to get more people interested in your blog through sheer curiosity - it seems to always work for me (as a reader) haha. So, I thought why not join the band wagon! The past few months I have been living in a completely new world: new job, new town, new friends, not so new hobbies. I have always been a lover of crafting, painting, and photography but have always been busy with work. Now, in this new chapter in my life I have purposely set time aside for these old loves of mine.

New York, I Love You
So last night I was having a wonderfully crafty evening with a some new friends and somehow the subject of New York came up - don't ask me how, these tangents just happen in good conversations. Anyways, I was sharing some stories from my trip this last fall (almost a year ago!) and just talking about it made me miss it so much. The lights, the crisp air, the amazing used books stores, art galleries, the boots!! So that got me looking through my pictures and I think I'm going to do a New York series or something with all my prints... maybe a little mixed media?? I'd love to hear what you think!
>> Aaanndd.... there is a new movie out about New York called New York, I Love You that looks soooo good, check out the trailer!
Here a few random polas from my trip for your Friday enjoyment =)

For the Newlyweds...

I made this for my good friends Shannon & Scott who just got married. I took their engagement photos awhile back and I used them to do a little mixed media project. Enjoy!
p.s. you can see more of their engagement photos here!
Share Your Secrets
I know I haven't posted in awhile... I've been mainly focusing on my wedding blog Something Blue (which, by the way you should check out!) Anyways, while I was driving back from school last night, I decided there is just way too much stuff I have to share that doesn't really fit within the whole "wedding planning" world that I should start blogging again here - so here I am. I am going to update it quite often so check back for more =)
I don't know if you have heard of the books Post Secret or not, but there are one of the coolest coffee table books, or if you're like me, the pick up-every day -and- flip -through- just -for -fun- books haha. Anyways, the creator also has a blog where he posts new secrets every Sunday. Thus it has begun my Sunday evening ritual to read other people's secrets and to see what creativity I may find. Usually there is a mix between funny, dark, vengeful, and some that are just so sad. This last Sunday I stumbled across one that just made me chuckle out loud. Hope you like! And be sure to check out the Post Secret Blog... have you ever found one that you enjoyed? Post it here, I'd love to see!
